When you purchase any product of our collection you plant a Tree

We at boobam are really serious about the change our customers can create in the world. 

The world average CO2 emissions per capita is around 5.000 kg per year.

The global plastic production is estimated to be responsible for a 6-7% of that number equaling into 300 kg per capita. With the petrochemical and plastic industries planning a massive expansion in production, the problem is on track to get much worse.

Switching to plastic free alternatives and more greener lifestyle we estimate that our Planet Heroes bring this number down by more than 25% to a total below 4.000 kg per capita. That is because except the reduce in plastic production and plastic waste, our customers through their purchases and donations, plant on average 30 trees per year (through One Tree Planted and WWF donations) with each tree capable to offset approx. 27 kg of CO2 per year, among other benefits, totaling the reduction at around 800 kg more.

So using boobam plastic free options and products, while planting trees, will equal to a Neutral CO2 offset lifestyle in 5 years and a negative CO2 offset from year 5 and beyond.

Also all our deliveries and transport emissions are under the Offset program. Offset calculates the cost to neutralize our shipping emissions by protecting forests through certified projects and partners. We're excited to work with Pachama and contribute to certified projects, complying with the best-in-class carbon offset protocols and standards.
